Thompson founded Thompson LLP in 2013. Under his leadership, the firm has grown its practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and general transactional matters, often involving complex intellectual property and tax issues. He represents buyers, sellers and other interested parties in acquisitions, divestitures, investments and strategic alliances in the fashion, life sciences, finance, technology, service and hospitality sectors. As outside general counsel to multiple private companies, he also advises on operational and governance matters.
