Jeff Aldridge focuses his practice on patent prosecution and intellectual property strategy, advising clients across a broad range of technologies including electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical systems, and software. He represents companies of all sizes—from multinational corporations to early-stage startups—in developing, managing, and protecting complex patent portfolios, both domestically and internationally.
Jeff has personally drafted and prosecuted more than 500 patent applications across technical fields such as satellite radio, biometric sensors, artificial intelligence, user interfaces, programmable gate arrays, medical devices, and business methods. He frequently advises clients on freedom-to-operate analyses, patent validity and infringement matters, and IP due diligence in connection with financing and acquisition transactions.
With a degree in electrical engineering and nearly two decades of legal experience, Jeff brings both technical fluency and strategic insight to his work. He has overseen large-scale global patent portfolios with thousands of applications and is known for helping clients align their IP protection with core business goals.
