Published by LawTechie - January 29, 2010 - LawTechie launched an IPhone application just in time for Restaurant Week. This is obviously not legal news, but is of big concern to many of New York’s small business owners: Restaurateurs.

The application is free. It’s being supported by Capital One to start. It will highlight Capital One branch locations in select cities.

Restaurateurs who already use to promote their business now have an upgraded medium for drawing customers — particularly customers who like to wait until the last minute to pick a place to eat.

It’s good to see that MenuPages has recognized the importance of branching out into mobile media. (Competitor Yelp has had a mobile app for some time now.)

LawTechie is a blog focusing on trends in tech and digital media. Areas covered include intellectual property, cyberlaw, venture capital, transactions and litigation as they relate to the emerging sectors. The blog is edited by the firm's partner Tim Bukher with contributions from the firm's experts in their respective areas of law.
